Katy,
For some reason I thought you finished school recently... You're doing an MFA in poetry? And why do you have mixed feelings about publication? I'd love to read what you have to say.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Best,
a.

hey a.m
i've just been catching up on some comments left in my
blog. thank you for all the encouragement.
my collection isn't really coming out, though i suppose it could, someday. it was a creative project for my honors thesis to graduate uni. it went quite well. and i'd be glad to send you a copy if you send me your mailing address.
i suppose i could sell them in local book stores, or try to engross myself in a poetry group here on the cape in order to sell it at gigs, but i'm happy enough just creating. this blog is real reaching out for me, having just one or two readers is all the ego boosting i'll ever need :)
if you are interested in a copy i can post you one anyway. just let me know. and thank you, again, for reading and appreciating my work.

Katy, this is one bold, well-written, entirely readable introduction! I applaud your courage to attempt such a feat, to draw some distinction at a time when it seems all distinction has been blurred. I found the optical analogy to be very helpful. So, when is your collection coming out?
